Chef Dennis Licata began cooking as a young child in an Italian family in New Jersey. During family gatherings I would be amongst the adults learning and participating in the meals. My first job was in a restaurant along the Jersey shore at the age of 17 learning the business from an entry level position serving 800-1200 guest a night. It was busy.
I studied cooking while abroad in Florence, Italy and received a degree in Culinary Arts from the inaugural class at Johnson & Wales in Denver. I have been cooking professionally and privately for over 25 years. My extensive experience and training are in Classic European, South Western and American cuisine. I also posses a vast knowledge with specific dietary specifications; such as Gluten Free, vegan, paleo, and many more. I can deliver a personalized menu based on what each individual family requires.
In your initial meeting, we discuss food preferences, flavor profiles, dietary restrictions and requirements, portion sizes and cost. I create an initial menu that meets your unique needs for your review and changes will be made if necessary. A schedule will be created to come to your home and prepare delicious and fresh homemade meals. We discuss different meal options as fresh prepared and/or freezer meals. These are all designed to meet your family’s personal needs.
I arrive will the necessary ingredients and equipment. You provide containers to store the food and he will prepare the meals, package the food with heating instructions and clean up. That simple!
