Birth and postpartum doulas support baby and Mom. A healing mom is essential after birth. We care for Mom and baby over night and during the day to help the family as a whole. Changing diapers, feedings, breastfeeding support, light housework, meal prep, sleep support and more.
How can we help you remotely
We offer video support for new moms and sleep training online. Grocery shopping, meal prep and drop off, video chat to discuss what baby and mom may need, we create a plan together to help that come to fruition. We can address sleep issues, how to get longer stretches, or even train you how to Sleep Train your infant or toddler to sleep 10-12 hours a night.
Our team is quarantined, staying inside, cleaning surfaces, door handles, steering wheels, taking all safety measures to stay healthy and able to work inside or outside your families home. They shower, and put on fresh clean clothes before arriving to your home. They will wash their hands as usual but more frequent. Shoes taken off at the front door. Temperatures taken daily. We want to keep your family and our Doulas families safe and healthy.

For every new parent, there’s one day to look forward to with excitement and anticipation – the day their new arrival finally sleeps through the night without interruption. But getting there can often seem impossible; there are hundreds of books touting different sleep training methods on the market, and discouragingly, many of them strongly suggest that if you miss the ‘magic window’ for sleep training – usually said to be between age 3-4 months – you’ll never be able to get your child sleeping soundly through the night.

We have 3 requirements when starting a sleep training. First, you need to be mentally prepared and ready to stick with a few simple adjustments. Mom, Dad, grandma, and nanny all need to be on board to have a successful training. Ready? Check that your baby meets these 3 requirements and lets start sleeping.
Your baby needs to weigh at least 10-12 pounds. We want to make sure they are healthy with weight gain to cut off night feedings.
24-32 ounces in a day is required to start the process. If they have one night feeding that equals 30 ounces total for their 24 hour period, then we can get started. We want to conclude baby is eating enough in the day to cut feedings at night.
Your baby needs to be at least 3 months old adjusted.

Sleep Training simply means we educate the family and help the infant sleep through the night. We have different methods, nursery techniques, and bed time routine suggestions to make sleeping easier on everyone. Every training is specific to your families needs. We don’t train off one Sleep Training method. We specialize and cater to what your infant and family need.
Is there crying involved?
Babies cry, its 100% normal. Its their way of communicating. Does your training have to involve crying? No, not at all. We see quicker results with a little bit of crying, but we can train without any tears.
My baby doesn’t nap in the daytime, does my Sleep Trainer help with daytime naps?
Absolutely. Your daytime schedule is just as important as your night time schedule. We assess all aspects of routine, schedule, nursery and families wishes.
What can I expect when they come to my home?
They arrive one hour before bedtime. Meet baby, walk through the process, tweak accordingly, monitor bedtime routine, you go to bed and the magic begins. 3 nights is usually all we need.
We start with a nursery and bedtime assessment. We analyze the situation and adjust the routine and bedroom as needed. We go over the process, educate the parents, and confirm our Sleep Training strategy with the family.
How long does it take?
Most Sleep Training cases only take 3 quick nights. Every toddler is different, and every home has different night time issues. We cater each training to your child’s unique needs. Most families see success at 3 nights, but it may take a few more nights pending on your child’s night time struggles.
