The Magic Sleepsuit® is an innovative swaddle transition product that provides babies with a cozy, calming, and safe sleep environment. The patented Magic Sleepsuit is designed for babies who are ready to transition from the swaddle, yet still need that cozy and contained feeling to aid in their sleep. The Magic Sleepsuit is designed with the ABC’s of sleep in mind, Alone, Back sleeping in the Crib. It is to be used for back sleeping only in the crib, not in a Rock N Play, Dock A Tot or co sleeping environment.
The Magic Sleepsuit is the perfect transition product for parents who need a little extra help getting their infant to transition comfortably from swaddling around the three month mark. The inner layer of the Magic Sleepsuit is a breathable, soft jersey cotton, followed by a layer of polyfil, and an outer layer or either Microfleece or Cotton. It is designed with open hands and feet that allows a baby’s heat to dissipate as they sleep and a scooped neck that keeps the fabric away from the baby’s face. Either version can be used during any time of year as long as the baby’s room is kept on the cooler side as recommended by the AAP and only one layer is worn underneath.
The Magic Sleepsuit was designed by a mom going through probably a lot of the same sleep struggles that you are currently going through. Her young son wouldn’t sleep anywhere but the stroller. Being a Pediatric Physical Therapist and having a child not sleeping was making her desperate since she knew how important sleep is for proper development and for a happy baby. She used her background and small sewing skills to create sleep aid that gave him the “womb” like feel. To her surprise, it worked really well. When her daughter was born, she pulled her creation back out and used it once again with success. By the time her third child came, she shared her creation with her mommy group. Realizing the success that they all had, she and her husband decided her invention was indeed magic and the Magic Sleepsuit was born.
