Sleepless nights are the worst.

Out of all the new parent adjustments we have to make, getting used to a baby’s unpredictable sleep schedule can be the hardest. How babies approach sleep can be just as unique as their appearance, temperament, and responses to their environment.

As a new parent, you can go months without getting quality sleep—you’re up at all hours of the night feeding and caring for your newborn.

Even though being a new parent is filled with all of the warm and fuzzies, it can be really tough when you’re not getting the rest you need.

Some infants transition easily into a predictable sleep schedule without intervention. Others struggle and need a guiding hand.

It’s time for your baby to start sleeping through the night, so you can, too.

Sleep Training Services That Meet You Where You Are

We understand that sleep training your baby is no easy task, especially for new parents. This is why Night Owl Nanny Care offers experienced night nurses to sleep train and care for your baby while you get the rest you need. Our sleep training services offer exhausted parents a chance to recharge, so they can spend quality time with their family in a more rested state.

When Can You Start Sleep Training?

  • Before 6 months: Ideally, we recommend starting sleep training between 3 and 5 months, or 10 and 12 pounds. Babies are ready at this age because, metabolically, they can go longer stretches without feeding. This provides the space needed to teach them how to self-soothe and fall back to sleep when they awaken out of habit.
  • After 6 months old: Although we recommend starting sleep training earlier than 6 months to give little ones a head start on developing good sleep habits, this is not always possible. Maybe they weren’t ready, or maybe you tried to power through it, thinking it would resolve itself. No matter the case, a qualified sleep trainer has the knowledge and expertise to help your infant or toddler get on the right track.

Sleep training can be tricky, especially when you’re exhausted. Having a professional step in who understands your specific needs and your baby’s can make all the difference.

This is where we come in. Our professional team of night nurses will guide you, help train your baby to sleep through the night and establish a solid nightly routine that the family can follow.

In-State and Virtual Services

Our in-home night nurse services are located in Colorado and Hawaii, but if you live outside of those areas, that’s not a problem. We can consult with you via FaceTime or video chat. We offer an expert assessment of your nursery and go over the best sleep training methods for your little one, so you can have the confidence to do it on your own.

After our consultation, you can contact us at any time during the next 30-day period to discuss how the nights are going, and what needs to be changed, or to ask any questions you may have during the sleep training. You will always have the help you need when you need it.

Parenting can feel isolating, especially when you’re trying to figure out everything on your own. Sleep training doesn’t have to be one of those areas. No matter where you are located, we are dedicated to helping you and your baby sleep better and have an improved quality of life.
